The El Camino baseball team went on the road Tuesday, only to have its five-game winning streak snapped by L.A. Mission College, 9-4.
The Warriors were scoreless through the first six innings, before tacking on four runs in the seventh, but the nine runs the team let up in the first four innings was too big of a hurdle.
“Offensively we took some poor at bats early on and couldn’t push across base runners in key situations,” freshman catcher Connor Underwood said.
Now sitting at 6-4 on the season the Warriors have two more games this week as the team looks to forget the loss.
