El Camino softball gave up eight runs in the first inning in a 10-1 loss to Saddleback College on Friday.
Coach Jessica Rapoza said Saddleback College is a good team and the vistors did a great job of executing with runners in scoring position.
“We had many opportunities to score and did not execute,” Rapoza said. “We will continue to get better as a team and I know we are young so I am looking for improvement at this point in the season.”
The Warriors are back in action when they host Golden West College Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 2:30 p.m.
