Two 15-year-old girls who were reported missing on Sept. 25 reported themselves to the El Camino Police Department on Sept. 27, according to the police beat.
After being listed in a missing persons report in the state-wide database just two days before, the girls reported to the ECPD lobby, telling ECPD that they wandered away from their group on an outing and ended up spending the night at a friend’s house in the Crenshaw Boulevard and Metro station area, according to the police beat.
The two girls were taken into custody by their home facility manager and removed from the missing person’s database, according to the police beat.
