Another season of softball begins at EC. The Warriors faced off in a doubleheader against Golden West College and Moorpark College in the season opener.
The first game at Golden West College the Warriors played Moorpark College. The game was a run away win with the Warriors dominating the entire game. In the end the Warriors beat Moorpark 24-4 in five innings.
Riding off the win from the first game the Warriors faced Golden West in the second game at 6 p.m. The Warriors continued to play up and lead the entire game. After five innings the Warriors beat Golden West 10-2.
The Warriors will face off against Orange Coast College in a doubleheader at Orange Cost at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
