El Camino men’s soccer dropped its second straight game of the season in a 2-1 loss to Santa Monica College, according to cccaasports.org.
Sophomore defender Carlos Torres gave the Warriors a 1-0 lead in the first half on a free kick. SMC’s Stuart Sloan equalized the score with a goal at the 51-minute mark.
Victor Tapia gave the Corsairs the lead for good with goal, making the score 2-1 and solidifying their win.
EC finished the game with 10 shots and seven saves, according to cccaasports.org.
Next up for the Warriors is an away game at Fullerton College on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
