The El Camino women’s soccer team added another victory to the win column with a 4-1 defeat over Fullerton College on Tuesday.
In just 10 minutes of the first half, the Warriors’ offense showed up. Sophomore mid-fielder, Kelsey Orseth, put El Camino on the score board with the assist to teammate sophomore defender Kathryn Wilson.
John Britton said in just four games this season, the offense and defense keeps improving.
“We are playing more as a team,” Britton said. ” With the addition to our new players, we look stronger and faster compared to last year. I feel like our offense has improved heavily and that will help us keep this winning streak.”
The defense has only allowed two goals in just four games against tough opponents, Britton adds. Goal-keeper, Olivia Hover, is a defensive machine and is a great leader that makes a difference.
The Warriors (2-0-2) play game five of the season away, Friday at Santa Ana College. Kick off is set for 3 p.m.
