The El Camino College baseball team went on the road and beat El Camino-Compton Center, 13-4 on Thursday, making that four straight wins.
Starting pitcher for the Warriors’ freshman Sebastian Sanchez retired the first 10 batter he faced and finished with seven strong innings, giving up one earned run and striking out seven.
“Sanchez was great today,” assistant coach Nick Jones said. “He really had command of his fastball and change up.”
The offensive scoring for the Warriors was led by sophomore left fielder Jonathan Pasillas who went 3-4 with five RBIs, including a two-run triple. Freshman infielder Brady Dorn also went 3-4 with two runs scored in the game.
The Warriors (17-6, 6-2) will host the Tartar’s in the final game of the series on Saturday at noon.
