Students who are graduating this year, and want to be the Student Speaker at graduation must submit their application and a speech to the Student Development Office on Friday, April 1 at 1 p.m., according to the flier.
The auditions will be held on Thursday, April 7 from 2 to 4 p.m., and also on Friday, April 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the Student Development Office.
Students who try-out must submit the manuscript on a topic relative to the occasion, and the speech is allowed to be up to three minutes long.
The winner will be selected based on the content and presentation performed during the auditions, and the panel’s decision will be final, according to the flier.
