Being the guy who prances, moves, grooves and flows with the cosmic, lovable, fun, erotic, energetic and beautiful music of Flaming Dingos takes a unique mind set altogether.
Royce Nowacki, 18, communications major, explains his band to be a retro, psychedelic, sex-funk dance band based here in Los Angeles.
“Our music is solely based on letting the cosmic energies (at) that moment in time penetrate our bodies,” Nowacki said. “So we could be our truest self and not cheat anyone for who we truly are.”
Many artists and bands inspire Nowacki such as James Brown and even Red Hot Chili Peppers.
For Nowacki, working with his brother is like an Italian mob or restaurant where business and family come together.
“In the end, everyone in the band (are) like my family,” Nowacki said. “We create music together and love each other’s company.”
