El Camino College police released a picture today of the cell phone robbery suspect from Oct. 2.

As reported first on ECCUnion.com, the man asked the student to borrow his cell phone to make a phone call in the area of the PE Building.

The student walked with the suspect to the Math Business Allied Health Building and then to Lot A where the suspect refused to give the phone back.

The man and the student engaged in a short struggle over the phone and the student was unable to get his phone back, according to the campus advisory.

UPDATE, NOV 3, 8:35 a.m. Suspect was changed to the man.
