The EC Warriors extended their win streak to three matches and are undefeated this season, as they beat Golden West 3-1 in sets Friday night.

The Warriors are now 3-0 against non-conference teams and are looking to continue this streak in conference play. But first, they must get through four more non-conference teams. Their next four are against San Diego Miramar, at San Diego, versus San Diego Mesa and at Grossmont.

After losing the first set 22-25 the Warriors were stuck in a one-set deficit against GW, but quickly came surging back after a thriller in set two where they beat GW 25-23.

After dropping the first set and fighting a close match in the second, EC did not look like the error-riddled team from recent games.The Warriors could not be stopped when they came alive in sets three and four. They quickly rustled up the Rustlers in a 25-12 set three win.

Continuing to play well enough to outlast the GW squad, the Warriors beat the Rustlers in set four 25-18, and by winning the fourth set they won the match entirely, 3-1 in sets.
