The votes are in, and after a week of elections, the 2016-2017 student government has filled its positions.
The Associated Student Organization (ASO) president, vice president, student trustee, etc. have been picked and the results were posted in the Student Activities Center on Friday, April 8.
Here are the winners:
- President – Eman Dalili
- Vice President – Hanna Chu
- Student Trustee – Nicole Mardesich
- Director of Academic Affairs – Patrick McDermott
- Director of Finance – Araceli Rodriguez
- Director of External Affairs – Annette Linares
- Director of Student and Community Advancement – Alicia Davis
- Director of Human Resources – Tiffany Ushijima
- Director of Public Relations – Victoria Nguyen

ASO is also accepting applications for students to join next year and “all students have to do is bring their application to the ASO office during the interview times,” Dalili said.
Interviews will be conducted on the following days:
- April 27 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- April 28 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
- April 29 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- June 21 from 2 to 5 p.m.
- July 27 from 2 to 5 p.m.
