Honors program seeks membership
Honors Transfer Program is currently accepting new memberships for the winter 2005 and spring 2006 terms until Thursday.
The program stresses scholastic excellence and strives to prepare students to transfer to a university and receive a bachelor’s degree. HTP members receive guaranteed or priority admission to CSUs UCs and various private universities, as well as priority registration for EC classes.
HTP office is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Interested persons may call (310) 660-3815 for more information.
Free medical tests offered to students
Student Health Services offers free and low cost services to EC students.
Free services are offered by appointment and on a weekly basis and include chiropractic, physician visits, psychological counseling, group seminars, HIV testing and chlamydia testing.
Low cost services include pap smears, blood tests, pregnancy tests, STD testing, and immunizations. The Health Center is located next to the pool and opens at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Women’s technical arts support group
The Women in Industry and Technology Program’s monthly Peer Support Group Meeting will take place Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Student Services Center room 204G.

ASB offers discount Disneyland tickets
Owners of valid ASB discount stickers may purchase Disneyland tickets at a discounted rate of $43 per ticket at the Cashier’s Window until December 15.
Rock the vote rally set for Tuesday
Assemblymen Ted Lieu and Jerome Horton will be speaking at the second annual “Rock the Vote” rally this Tuesday at the Activities Center Stage across from the library. For information, interested persons may call Philip Gomez at 660-6393.
The rally will include voter registration, entertainment, give always and free food. All students are encouraged to attend.
