Men’s soccer ties its second conference game of season

The El Camino men’s soccer team tied it’s third game at 1-1 in a row on Friday afternoon after failing to hold the lead against winless Pasadena City College, according to cccaasports.org.

The Warriors went ahead at the 65 minute mark after a goal from sophomore midfielder Ryan Zein, but couldn’t hold on to a second-half lead for the second game in a row.

Pasadena’s Artin Almary scored the tying goal from outside the 18-yard box at the 76 minute mark, according to cccaasports.org.

The Warriors are now 0-0-2 (2 points) in South Coast Conference play, and EC’s overall record sits at 1-5-3, according to cccaasports.org.

The Warriors’ next game is on Oct. 6 at Long Beach City College at 4 p.m.
