May 30, 11:20 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a driver who was using his cell phone in the 16600 block of Crenshaw Blvd. According to the report, the male non-student had an expired drivers license. The officer issued the driver a citation and told the driver to park his vehicle in Lot L. A report was taken.

May 30, 7:04 p.m. A man riding his bicycle on the sidewalk in the 16400 block of Crenshaw Blvd. was stopped by officers. According to the report, the male non-student, told officers that he had some “dope” on him. Officers searched the man and discovered a small plastic baggie with methamphetamine inside. The man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Torrance Police Department. A report was taken.

June 2, 2:26 p.m. An officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding in the 3400 block of Manhattan Beach Blvd. The driver who was not a student did not have a drivers license. The officer cited the driver for driving with out a license and had his brother take control of the vehicle.

June 4, 11:48 a.m. According to the report, an officer stopped a man for riding his bicycle inside the campus. The officer observed three fixed blade knives in a black sheath on his belt. While searching the man, the officer discovered three grams of methamphetamine, burglary tools and a small amount of marijuana. The man, who is not a student was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of illegal weapons on college property, possession of burglary tools, and possession of marijuana. The man was booked at Torrance Police. A report was taken.

June 5, 3:06 a.m. According to the report, officers conducted a traffic stop on a male who was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk and not having a front light in the 16800 block of Prairie Ave. While searching the man, officers discovered a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine. Officers issued the man a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and released. A report was taken.

June 5, 8:41 p.m. An officer made a traffic stop in the 16100 block of Crenshaw Blvd. on a vehicle that did not have a license plate light. According to the report, the female non-student, had a suspended driver’s license. The officer cited the female for driving on a suspended license. The officer had the female park her car legally at the location of the stop, since she could not drive.

June 5, 9:08 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a male who was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk in the 16400 block of Crenshaw Blvd. According to the report, officers found a small amount of methamphetamine on the man. The male non-student was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Torrance Police. A report was taken.

June 6, 2:43 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 16600 block of Crenshaw Blvd. on a vehicle with a non operating brake light. According to the report, the driver a male non-student was driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited and a passenger with a valid license was allowed to take control of the vehicle. A report was taken.
