Ever since winning 9-0 against Cypress College the EC men’s tennis team has been on a three-game losing streak. First losing to Bakersfield 8-1, second to Saddleback 9-0 and third to Orange Coast 9-0.
The Warriors(1-5) were still looking for win no. 2 against Fullerton College but received their fourth lost of the season with a score of 5-4.
In doubles matches, the first and third matches for EC were a close affair. The EC Warriors won two of their three matches with scores of 8-6 and 8-3.
The doubles encounter that was key was the third match between Whitney Reed and Ricky Kingham of EC and Fullerton doubles number three.
The singles matches for the EC warriors didn’t go EC’s way as they lost the last four singles matches.
The next match is a conference encounter at home against Mt. San Antonio College on Feb. 19 and the start time is 2 p.m.
