The 4-0 EC men’s volleyball team were looking to continue their win streak when they left the Los Angeles area to play against the 0-3 San Diego Knights.

In dominating fashion; unlike the Warriors’ first two games which were riddled with errors, the EC men’s volleyball team swept the San Diego team 3-0 in sets.

Great play offensively and defensively led to a commanding 25-11 win in set one, but it didn’t stop there. As the team was not ready to lose a single set on the night. They continued on with a 25-12 set two victory.

The Knights were not ready to give up against the Warriors and played a long and hard fought set three. Ultimately they lost to the strength of their opponents, 23-25.

The Warriors are now 5-0 on the season, against non-conference opponents.

The Warriors play San Diego Mesa College on Feb. 18 and at Grossmont on Feb. 20. They will finish their battle against non-conference teams before facing their first conference opponent Los Angeles Pierce on Feb. 25.
