Led by 21 points from sophomore center Gavin Reagan, the Warriors beat host Irvine Valley College 87-84 Wednesday night.
The El Camino men’s basketball team improved to 6-1 on the season.
“I’m happy we were able to win our first away game,” Reagan said. “We still have a lot to work on.”
EC had five players score in double figures. Sophomore point guard Brandon Guerrero finished with 12 points and seven assist.
Freshman guard Jamal Heckard had 11 points while sophomore guard Martyre Demarco added 12 points off the bench.
The Warriors are back in action when they host Mira Costa College Nov. 9, at 5 p.m.
