The men’s water polo team won its first game of the season when it defeated Los Angeles Trade Tech last Thursday, 29-15.

“We played really well this game and it sure does help when the opponent we’re playing is weaker,” said Coach Stanbury.

The Warriors were very active on defense only giving up 15 goals.

“We shot very well and we were able to score because we were backing off,” Stanbury said. “We also took advantage of their defense and it sure helped they weren’t as strong as us either.”
