Police Beat, Oct. 30-Nov. 1
Nov. 1, 11:30 p.m. Police responded to the station after a mother said that her 17-year-old daughter, a student, was missing. The student’s mother said her daughter’s class had ended at 10 p.m. After searching for the missing student, officers found her sitting near the Administration Building. The student was taken to the station were she was reunited with her mother.
Nov. 1, 1:30 p.m. Officers responded after a female staff struck another staff’s vehicle in Parking Lot J. The female staff said she was backing out of a parking space when she bumped into the vehicle leaving minor damages. There were no injuries and both parties exchanged information.
Oct. 31, 2 p.m. Officer responded to the station regarding a theft report after a male student said he was missing his wallet. The student last saw his wallet in his pants pocket in the Schauerman Library and noticed it was missing at 10 p.m. after leaving campus.
Oct. 30, 3:40 p.m. Officer responded to Parking Lot F after a female student reported that her car had been vandalized. The student returned to her car and noticed that the hood of her car had random scratches. It appeared that someone had damaged the paint with a medal object. There were witnesses.
Oct. 30, 11:30 a.m. Officer pulled over a vehicle after noticing an equipment violation. The driver, male non-student, had been driving on a suspended license. He was issued a citation and released on the scene.
