Dena Maloney of Taft College was selected to be the next president of the college, according to an email sent out by community relations director Ann Garten.

The appointment of the next president of El Camino will be voted on at the next board meeting, according to the email.

If approved, Maloney will be the sixth president in the college’s 68-year history.

The next board meeting is Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. in the board room.
