Classes on the third floor of the Art and Behavioral Science Building were canceled this morning because someone discharged a fire extinguisher throughout the hallway, Police Chief Michael Trevis said in an email.
The stairs on the east and west sides of the building were blocked off on the second floor, preventing students, faculty and staff from going to the third floor.
“Someone used a fire extinguisher and sprayed it all over the hallway floor,” Trevis said in an email. “Custodians are cleaning it up.”
Trevis added the third floor would be accessible by 11 a.m. today, if not earlier.
