Union staffers, including both editors and writers, attended the Journalism Association of Community Colleges Southern California regional conference Friday and Saturday at California State University, Fullerton.

After two days of competitions and workshops, the event ended with an awards ceremony Saturday night. There, the Union, Union Online, and Warrior Life all received General Excellence among several design, layout, and individual writing awards.
