To bring awareness to our campus clubs, Associated Students Organization (ASO) will be sponsoring “Toast To El Camino” event today that will be taking place in the Activities Center East Lounge at 8 p.m.
The event will be available for people to introduce themselves and also get to know ASO along with other clubs that are all invited.
“The main reason for the event is to raise student awareness of ASO and clubs that are on campus,” Rebekka Asher, Commissioner of Activities, said.
There will be a $2 entrance fee that will include one free drink.
Students from EC campus along with students from the EC Compton center are also invited to come and check out the festivities.
The attire for the event if you choose to attend is semi-formal.
The festivities are also to include a filled with a night of dancing, along with food and drinks.
“I think it’s great ASO is putting together event like this,” Jonathan Bonilla, 20, sociology major said.
“ I for one don’t really know much about ASO, but I think it’s a good idea for them to try and have events to raise awareness to students. It definitely shows they care,” he said.
