Today is the last day to give blood in the Activities Center West Lounge from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be a Financial Aid workshop today from 9 to 11 a.m. and April 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Library Demonstration Center- West basement. Students will get general Financial Aid information and help completing the financial aid application online. The Inter-Club Council will be hosting a Loathing in Las Vegas night tomorrow from 7p.m. to Midnight in the Marsee Auditorium. Students may buy their tickets in the Marsee Auditorium box office, it’s $15 per ticket and $25 for a VIP ticket.
The Native American Club will host the 12th annual All-Nation Powwow Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday in the EC Track Field. Bring your family and friends to see Native American dancers, singers and drummers. Try Native American food and shop for crafts, jewelry and art at the vendor booths Admission is free!
The Schauerman Library will have extended times starting Monday; this is also in effect for the Learning Resources Center and Library/Media Technology Center. The new hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday- Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday; and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Students may call the Circulation Center at (310) 660-3519 for more information on the changes.
There will be a Black College Fair next Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Library Lawn. The college at this workshop is Howard University, Fisk University, Talladega College, Tuskegee University, Dillard University, Tennessee State University and Clark Atlanta University.
The bookstore will be closed next Friday to Sunday, April 18 because they are closing down the Student Activities location, but will reopen after Spring Break Monday, April 19 in the renovated Bookstore Building.
The South Pacific Islander Club will host a High School Dance Competition next Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Marsee Auditorium.
