Female student sexually assaulted

A female student was sexually assaulted when she returned to her vehicle in lower Lot F Thursday.

The female student screamed when she felt somebody grab her her inappropriately.

An unknown male witness approached and tried to stop the suspect from what he was doing; the female student escaped and drove off in her car.

The female student returned to report to the Campus Police Department shortly after she went home and talked to her boyfriend.

The suspect is now under investigation and will be charged with sexual battery; he is currently enrolled at EC.

Police ask for public assistance from anyone who witnessed what happened.

Backpack with knife, pot found

A backpack containing a knife and marijuana was found Monday.

A student came to check and verified the backpack was his; he was cited for possession of marijuana and weapons possession on school grounds. He was also ordered to see the dean of students.

Stereo taken from Lot F car break-in

A female student’s vehicle was broken into in upper Lot F Tuesday, totaling a $12,000 loss.

She said she left her car locked at 9:15 a.m. and returned at 10:40 a.m. to find the driver’s side window smashed open and the stereo gone.

Students caught with marijuana

Three males were found smoking marijuana outside the MCS Building.

They were cited with possession of marijuana and were ordered to see the dean regarding their behavior.

Student complains of chest pains

A female student who was sweating profusely and complaining of chest pain went to the Health Center Friday. Paramedics transported her to Gardena Memorial Hospital.

Radio, CDs stolen in car break in

A student’s vehicle was found broken into on Oct. 26 with a total loss of $800.

When the student returned to her vehicle at 12:30 p.m., she found the rear passenger window broken, with her radio and CDs gone.
