Holiday arrest

Over Veterans Day Holiday, an officer observed a man exiting the Art and Behavioral Science Building. The subject had a $500 warrant for his arrest issued out of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. He was issued a notice to appear and escorted off campus.

Called to aid

Officers responded to a medical aid call in the Business Building last Tuesday after a female student complained of numbness to the arm, legs and pain to the abdomen. She refused paramedics and was transported to Gardena Memorial Hospital.

Two fight in lot

Two female students were involved in a physical altercation last Tuesday in Lot D. When officers arrived, the student who was assaulted was not cooperative.

Suspicious behavior
A staff member reported three males tampering with cars last Thursday in Lot F. One suspect had a crowbar and gave a false identification to police, for which he was charged.

Caught with pot

A driver stopped for a registration violation had two warrants for marijuana. Officers found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver was charged with possesion, given two notices to appear and his vehicle was towed.
