About: Mezzo-soprano Jill Grove and pianist Victoria Kirsch will be performing the rich melodies and powerful harmonies of the opera, “La Favorita” based on the play, “Le comte de Comminges” by Bauclad d’Arnaud. Kirsch and Grove will also be performing pieces from renowned European conductors, Manuel De Falla, Antonin Dvorak, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Johannes Brahms, and Gaetano Donizetti.
Grove is a globally traveling performer known for frequent guest performances at the Lyric Opera House of Chicago, and Kirsch is known for developing a number of collaborative shows, including a theatrical concert based on the work of Emily Dickinson.
