The El Camino College Center for the Arts is sponsoring a screening of “The Real World of New Zealand,” a documentary film directed by Rick Howard, on Sept. 14 at the Marsee Auditorium.
The film is the first of 12 travel documentaries that the Center of the Arts will offer to the community during the academic year 2015-16, Rick F. Christophersen, director of the Center for the Arts said.
“We tried to pick titles that we feel are new to the series,” Christophersen said. “We don’t repeat things we’ve done in years past,” Christophersen said.
This is going to be an interaction event where the public can ask the presenter questions, Christophersen added.
The price of each ticket is $8, according to the Center for the Arts website. Tickets can also be purchases at the Ticket Office, which is located on the south end of the auditorium, and by calling (310) 329-5345.
“I encourage students to come out and experience one of these films if the topic is interesting to them,” Christophersen said.
