The “Americus Brass Band” will be playing a variety music including classic music, marching and modern music as well on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. at the Marsee Auditorium.
The band, who are composed of 17 members, will all be playing brass instruments, and the performance will be a salute to those in the Armed Services.
According to the El Camino website, the band will be performing music from “the fields to the canteen, from Civil War quicksteps and Sousa marches to WWI Ragtime and Glenn Miller’s Swing,” giving students a chance to “experience music that inspired the troops and the public.”
Tickets to see the performance cost $26 and parking permits are $3.
