A photo exhibit featuring a work based on “Celebrating Our Parks” by the South Bay Camera Club is currently being displayed in the Schauerman Library until the end of the month, according to the display in the library.
The photo exhibit in the library has been a yearly tradition for the members of the SBCC to showcase their work, according to the SBCC website.
This year the members showed that, “the photographs are black and white and color digital photographs taken in national parks all across the country,” photography professor Darilyn Rowan said.
In order to know how to create those photographs, they go through competitions, workshops and friendships.
There will also be a “Meet the Artist” event in the library lobby on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 6-8 p.m. It will be an opportunity to hear more about the work that’s being displayed.
