The Warriors’ women’s soccer team (3-0-2) continues to dominate and improved their winning streak to three games after a 2-1 win over Santa Ana College on Friday.
El Camino coach John Britton said Fullertons’ defense was able to hold off the Warriors from scoring and held them scoreless in the first half.
“We dominated every position in the first 20 minutes,” Britton said. “We missed easy opportunities to score, but we didn’t take advantage of it. The more we missed, the more the other team began to get momentum.”
Both goals came from freshman defender, Kathryn Wilson, who did not play last season due to an injury.
The Warrior defense allowed only one goal which came late in the game at the 84th minute. In just five games, they have allowed only three goals combined.
Their next home game is on Tuesday, as they host Mt. San Jacinto College . Kick off is set for 2 p.m.
