El Camino’s Marsee Auditorium will resonate with classical music in an event headlined by Kyung Eun Choi.
The program, “Kyung Eun Choi, cello with Kirill Gliadkovsky, guest piano,” will take place in the auditorium Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.
According to the The Patch, Choi is a young cellist who has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, Jian Wang, the Julliard String Quartet and many other famous classical music performers. She has also won many awards around the world, including a gold medal at Japan’s Kirishima International Music Competition.
According to a brochure provided by the Center for the Arts, Choi will perform Claude Debussy’s “Cello Sonata,” Franz Schubert’s “Arpeggione Sonata” and Elliott Carter’s “Cello Sonata.”
