For students that are new to El Camino, joining a club is a great way to meet new people. Fortunately for them, the Inter-Club Council (ICC) is hosting the Fall 2015 club rush next week on the library lawn.
According to the ICC flier, club rush is a “forum for clubs to recruit new members and to meet representatives from the other organizations.”
There’s a variety of clubs on campus such as Service/Honor clubs, Cultural clubs and there are a large amount of special interest clubs.
Individual clubs each have their own benefits and the entire event is a way to promote student interaction and campus spirit, especially with all the new students this fall semester.
For many students this is their first semester of college, so club rush is a great way to introduce them to El Camino and the people who work here.
Club rush will take place from Tuesday, Sept. 8 to Thursday, Sept. 10 and the event lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The club booths are set up in the center of campus so they are easy to see. All students are encouraged to go by and see what the clubs have to offer.
