Women's soccer team is shutout by Fullerton college
Playing under a intense heat the EC women’s soccer team 2-0 against Fullerton college Sept. 12.
“Towards the end we attacked really well as a unit and had quite a few very exciting squaring opportunities we tried to capitalize,” assistant coach Nicole Gervais. “Unfortunately, but we did a much better job attacking as a group and creating what probably should it being in goals but still they were good opportunities.”
The Warriors played solid defense during the game but with two costly mistakes, they gave up two goals and which cost the Warriors the game.
“We could have wont, but we had many opportunities but we couldn’t finish; we worked really hard especially during the last 10 minutes of the game,” sophomore Dianna Smith said.
In the first half of the game, I actually got kicked out from the goalie,” Kaley German, 20, freshman, said.
The Warriors will look to shape of the defense moving forward.
