Feb. 21, 10:30 a.m.
During a physical assessment test in the Reserves Police Academy, a male student sustained a knee injury on the track area. An ambulance arrived and brought the student to Gardena Memorial for an evaluation.
Feb. 20, 10:20 a.m.
Police spotted a vehicle driving on Crenshaw and Redondo Beach boulevards and scanned its license plate. The owner had an outstanding warrant and was pulled over on Redondo Beach Boulevard. The suspect was not in the car, but the male driving the car did not have a license and was never issued one. The vehicle was towed and the driver is to appear in court.
Feb. 20, 7:48 p.m.
Officers patrolling the parking lots discovered two cars parked side by side on the far end of an empty Lot F. Suspicious of the vehicles, they approached the cars to discover an intense odor of marijuana and two males sitting in the front seat.
The officer asked if there was any marijuana in the car and one male said he had a small amount. He was cited for possession of less than one ounce.
Feb. 19, 10:30 a.m.-A female student, who did not lock her car, went to her class. She returned to her car in Lot L at 1:10 p.m. and drove off before realizing her car had been vandalized. Items of hers had been stolen, including the stereo. There was no sign of a forced entry and no evidence of a suspect.
