November 15, 3:19 p.m. – An officer stopped a subject riding on a bicycle near Manhattan Beach Boulevard. When the driver got off his bike he quickly through a bag on the ground away from him. The officer retrieved the bag which had crack cocaine inside of it. The subject was then arrested and transferred to Torrance Police Department.
November 13, 10:30 a.m. – A female subject that said she was robbed of her cell phone flagged a police cadet down in front of the Administration Building. The subject claimed she was outside the Administration Building when two males began to talk to her. One of them grabbed here cell phone and they began to run southbound through parking Lot A and ran out of sight. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate subjects.
November 13, 4:36 p.m. – An officer observed a male subject riding a bicycle on campus, which is a violation of the LA County municipal code. The officer asked the driver if he had anything on him. The driver said he had a small amount of marijuana on him. In addition, the officer also discovered a tin can used as a smoking device on the driver. The driver was cited for possession and released.
November 13, 3:07 p.m. – An officer contacted a subject inside his vehicle on parking Lot A. The subject had a $30,000 arrest warrant out of Gardena Police Department. He was transferred to the Gardena Police Department.
November 13, 12:14 p.m. – An officer stopped a driver in parking Lot A because he was not wearing a seat belt. The officer detected a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle and asked if anyone in the vehicle was carrying drugs. A female passenger said she had two marijuana pipes in her purse and revealed the. She was cited for possession of marijuana.
November 12, 10:26 a.m. – Officers responded to the Humanities Building because of a disturbance. A female was yelling profanities outside the restroom on the first floor. The female had been involved in previous incidents with police. She claimed someone was tampering with her property. Police took a report and she was referred to administration for violating the student code of conduct.
November 11, 8:28 p.m. – Officers responded to the campus theater regarding a medical emergency. During a theater rehearsal a female subject heard her knee make a popping sound and soon afterward had trouble walking. She refused medical attention and was driven home by a friend.
