Women’s restrooms need more than a scrub brush because some students don’t possess restroom etiquette.

Doors are constantly slammed as women try to decide which stall to choose.

The slamming is so loud that it shakes the other stalls.

Women get frustrated because someone has left an unwanted visitor in the toilet again.

A person might be lucky if their first choice was a keeper.

However, in many cases, mixed emotions of shock, surprise and disgust are expressed on a student’s face.

In some stalls, there are other women’s trademarks.

Details are spared, but many would agree that what you see makes absolutely no sense.

How can a person forget to flush the toilet?

The handle is right behind them.

Why would a person vandalize a school they paid to be in?

Trash belongs in the trashcans; not around the trashcan.

In addition, some women have made a point by stuffing overloads of tissue in the toilet or leaving urine in the toilet.

It is unsanitary and embarassing.

It’s more embarrassing in the Humanities Department because the building is new.

New bathrooms with old habits?

Many take for granted that it’s always someone else’s job to clean up after them.

This is college, not high school.

What would students do if the restrooms never got cleaned?

Improvements are greatly needed.

It’s not only unfair to the students, but to the custodial workers, too.

Have consideration for those who clean the bathrooms day after day, mess after mess.

Students would agree that cleaner restrooms are more welcoming than dirty restrooms.

So do everyone a favor; flush the toilet.
