“We had already played the team in the past and we won pretty easily last time,” coach Steve VanKanegan said. “I have to admit that our team was a little bit sluggish, but all and all we won the match.”
The Warriors are now 11-7 for the season. The women’s tennis team will play a conference match at Mt. San Antonio College on Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m. Mt. San Antonio is currently 17-1 for the season, according to cccaasports.
“We are going to practice a lot of doubles and we are going to work with Yamada on serving,” Van Kanegan said. “We are just going to try to get everybody motivated and ready to go for a tough match on Thursday.”
