Into the 55-minute mark, the women’s soccer team four game winning streak was crushed by Pasadena City College losing 3-0.
The women’s team were playing hard but they did give it their all even though they didn’t score any goals or points.
“We all played well for about 55 minutes, that’s when it didn’t turn in our favor,” Jaymie Baquero, assistant coach said.
Jermane Morales, 19, undeclared major said the team didn’t perform well because they didn’t touch the ball that much and didn’t communicate that much.
Antonio James, 20, sociology major, said that before the first goal it was cheerful and when that happened from the opposing team it was somber after that.
“Absolutely. there is hope” Baquero said. “The team thinks that they can recover from this loss even though they were upset at all this loss. Even though they loss they hope they could still win on the next game.”
