The Warriors have had trouble whenever they aren’t at Murdock Stadium. Last Friday was no different against East Los Angeles College.
The team made too many mistakes and the Huskies took advantage of the poor play and convert it into goals. The Warriors lost the game 3-0 last Friday.
The Warriors continue to have miscommunication with each other on defense and other teams take advantage of it.
“Defensively our shifting and switches need to be worked on, that led to the first goal (for ELAC),” coach, John Britton, said. “For the most part, we have been solid in the back and we just need to work on taking advantage of opportunities that we create.”
The team made too many costly mistakes and the Husky’s took advantage of the miscues and convert on them,
EC will grow from their mistakes and have a better performance next time around.
“Overall, (EC) made too many mistakes and we need to grow from it and correct it,” Britton said.
Arteaga agreed that it was their best played game, but the team tried it’s best against the Husky’s.
“We didn’t play a good game, but we hustled, we played hard, but we got dominate by the forwards, so we got to improve on that for next game,” Arteaga said.
Arteaga thinks that the Warriors should get together and start working as a team and hope for better results.
“Work on teamwork and score more goals,” Arteaga said.
The Warriors next game is tomorrow, when they host Mt. San Antonio College at 2 p.m. in Murdock Stadium.
“We are really looking forward to that challenge, because they are one of the top team’s in the state and were hoping to get after them, like we were able to do (against) Cerritos, but hopefully we get a better result against MT. SAC,” Britton said.
