“I’ll be eating, chilling and staying at home with my family,” Christian Moreno, 19, business management major said. “I am looking forward to the turkey.”
“I might be working “Black Friday” at UNIQLO–a clothing store inside Del Amo Mall,” he added.

“I’ll probably go to my cousin’s house; we eat dinner, talk and play board games,” Christopher Lindsay, 23, English major said. “Each family member brings their own dish.”
“My favorite dish is my mom’s mac and cheese casserole,” he added.
Faheema Ahmed
“[I’m] going to my aunt’s house,” Faheema Ahmed, 17, environmental technology major said. “We don’t follow the traditional Thanksgiving–we have several dishes like Biriyani–a rice dish that usually has chicken–there are always mixed vegetable dishes but in my culture, we put more spices in there.”

Genesis Aguilar
Genesis Aguilar, 18, nursing major said that if she is not called into work for “Black Friday,” she will be spending time with her family eating chicken, ham, and pumpkin pie; her favorite.
Kevin Degnan
“My wife, daughter, and I will be going to Boston,” associate professor of English, Kevin Degnan said. “We will be having dinner at my uncle’s house.”
Degan added that while he is looking forward to the mashed potatoes and stuffing, he is most excited for his family to see his year-and-a-half-old daughter.
Rick Ramirez
Rick Ramirez, 49, psychology major said he will be spending time with his immediate family having the “regular American tradition of turkey, ham, and football.”
“I look forward to the yams and ham,” he added.
Veronica Villacorta
“I will be spending time with my immediate family,” Veronica Villacorta, 23, biology major said. “We usually cook chicken, rice and beans.”
“Its very laid back,” she added.
