Two students reported that someone allegedly stole the battery from their car on Oct. 31 from the Lot L parking lot, according to the police beat.
The two male students reported to an ECPD officer that the theft occurred between the hours of 8 and 11 a.m., but there was allegedly no footage of the crime being committed, according to the police beat.
Last year a series of similar incidents occurred at El Camino, when approximately 10 vehicles had their catalytic converters stolen between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., all within a 40 day period.
