El Camino will host “College Night” on Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., in an effort to bring a festive environment to the school, administrative assistant for the Office of Outreach and School Relations said.
“College Night” is an open-house event with three workshops for students, parents and community members “spear-headed by our new president to bring back the personal touch of El Camino,” Brian Hayden, administrative assistant for the Office of Outreach and School Relations said.
The workshops are to inform everyone about financial aid, the athletics programs and to give people a chance to have “popcorn with the president,” according to the school’s website.
There will also be free parking in Lot H for those who attend, according to the website. Lot H is the five-story parking structure off of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Stadium Way.
“(The event is being done) to have something festive and fun for everyone,” Hayden said.
