EC visitor suffers seizure in Lot F
Sept. 24, 10:05 a.m.– A mansuffered a seizure in Lot F. Paramedics were called to the scene and he was transferred to UCLA Harbor Medical Center for treatment.
Two men are cited for public drinking
Sept. 23, 11:10 a.m.- An officer observed two male subjects on the corner of Manhattan Beach and Crenshaw Blvd., drinking malt liquor. Both men, who were not students, were cited for drinking in public. The officer also found that one of the subjects had a $1,000 warrant out of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Former EC student sent for evaluation
Sept. 22, 4:54 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to the music building because a male subject was pounding on tables and walls, causing a disturbance in a classroom. He told students that he was the teacher and that he wanted everyone to get out. The subject was believed to be mentally unstable and dangerous. He was transferred to UCLA Harbor Medical Center for a 72-hour detention for a mental evaluation. The subject was a former student.
Woman slips, taken to EC Health Center
Sept. 20, 10 a.m.- A medical call for a woman was reported in the Communications Building. The woman had slipped on the staircase leading up from the basement to the first floor. She was transported to the Health Center for a sprained wrist.
