Career Center sponsors fair
Looking to transfer to a state or private university? The Career and Transfer Center is sponsoring a University Fair to take place on the Library Lawn today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Representatives from various universities and colleges will be present to answer questions about their institutions from transfer and admission requirements to financial aid and academic programs. Interested persons may call the Transfer Center at (310) 660-3408 for more information.
USC tour available for EC students
Transfer Day at USC is tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the USC campus. The program will feature an admission presentation, financial aid workshop, academic department fair and campus tour.
A bus will leave from EC’s parking Lot D at 9:30 a.m. and will return to EC at 3 p.m. Students interested in joining the tour group may sign up at the Transfer Center which is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.

Day to drop without a ‘W’ creeps closer
Fall semester’s final day to drop classes without notation on one’s transcript is tomorrow. Students wishing to quit any classes without a “W” on their permanent record should drop those classes through the Admissions Office. Tour of Pepperdine set for next Friday
The Transfer Center will feature a tour of Pepperdine University’s Malibu Campus next Friday, Sept. 30.
The tour will include information on admissions, housing and more. A van will depart from the Campus Police parking lot promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will return at 3 p.m. Students interested in signing up may do so in the Transfer Center located on the first floor of the Student Services Center. A $5 refundable deposit is required upon signing up.
