Forged permit costs student $250 fine
Patrolling in the east side of Parking Lot B, a cadet saw a parking permit, which looked like it was made out of cardboard, in a student’s vehicle.
Police issued a $250 citation to the student and confiscated the permit.
Officers transfer student to hospital
Officers responded to the health center after a student with an extensive medical history complained of pain to the left side of his body and blurred vision.
He was transported by ambulance to Gardena Memorial Hospital.
Illegal turn causes two-car collision
Officers responded to the Lot L traffic circle regarding a non-injury traffic collision in which two students were involved Saturday night.
It was believed to have been caused when one of the students took an illegal right turn and crashed into the other student’s car.
Search of jaywalker reveals meth pipe
Jaywalking across Redondo Beach Boulevard, a female was stopped Monday morning by officers who asked if they could search her.
She agreed and officers found a methamphetamine pipe.
She was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
