Free Mammograms benefited women
More than 60 students, faculty, staff and community members received free breast exams last month during EC’s second annual Mobile Mammograms Project, sponsored by the EC Breast Cancer Survivor’s Group.
Participants received educational information, manicure and pedicure certificates. They were also able to participate in a drawing sponsored by Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market.
Firehouse tour available Thursday
Students may tour a firehouse and learn more about firefighting careers during the Orange County Fire Authority Career tour next Thursday.
Seats for the tour are limited.

Workshop teaches interviewing skills
Students have the chance to learn how to improve interviewing and job networking skills at two upcoming workshops.
The “Interviewing Techniques” workshop will take place Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in SSVC 106.
Tips on interview preparation, technique and follow-up will be given.
The “Job Strategies” Workshop will take place next Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon in SSVC106 and will include tips on networking.

Blood drive collects 306 pints of blood
The Anthropology Club won the Blood Drive contest for recruiting the most donors and volunteering the most hours.
