Deli burglarized, cash register stolen

The Campus Deli’s cash register was discovered on the west side of the Schauerman Library lying next to a hammer taken from a display case from the art patio Sunday.

The deli’s window was smashed along with two other display windows on the patio.

The suspects broke the display to get the hammer and used it to break into the snack bar.

The case is still under investigation and there are currently no suspects.

Student cited for smoking marajuana

A male student was found smoking a cigar with marijuana in it while sitting in his vehicle in Lot L Thursday.

He was given a citation for possession of marijuana.

Stereo taken from Lot F car break-in

A student’s car was broken into and the stereo taken Thursday in upper Lot F.

After leaving her car at 2 p.m., the student returned at 7:45 p.m. to find both of her driver’s side doors unlocked and the rear window broken.

Driver with warrant receives ticket

A vehicle was stopped for speeding on Manhattan Beach Boulevard Thursday.

The driver had a $25,000 warrant and was cited for the warrant.

Car stolen in Lot L Thursday evening

A student parked her car in Lot L Thursday at 5:45 p.m. and returned at 8:50 p.m. to find her car missing.

The car has not been found.

Student athlete complains of pain

A female student complained of abdominal pain and difficulty of breathing Saturday while playing during a basketball tournament in the north P.E. Building.

Paramedics arrived and transported the student to Torrance Memorial Hospital.

$250 loss results from locker theft

A student reported his belongings, totaling $250, stolen from the men’s locker room Tuesday.

The student said he put his belongings in the locker Monday and returned the next day to find his locker pried open.
