Iraqi ambush U.S. troops

U.S. soldiers defended themselves against a coordinated attack in Samarra Sunday, wounding five Americans and killing 46 Iraqi fighters, reported the Daily Breeze.

Japanese diplomats, seven Spaniards, two South Korean contractors and a Colombian oil worker were killed in the deadliest reported attack since the post Saddam Hussein regime.

AIDS on the rise, U.N. says
